William Rapp has has 14 years of competitive swimming experience as well as 5+ years of coaching experience. Growing up he swam among the most elite swimmers in the state of Texas, maintaining a top-10 ranking from age 12 to 18. As a junior in high school and the captain of the RHS swim team, he led his team to a district championship, while also qualifying individually for the UIL Regional meet and the UIL State Championships, where he finished 2nd and 4th respectively. William has been recognized as an All-American for his times in the 200 and 500 freestyle. He is a 5-time Speedo Sectional Series swimmer, and in 2014 qualified for the 18-and-under National Championship.


His coaching career began in 2012, with volunteer work for the AquaKids program. William has spent his last 3 summer’s as the assistant coach for the RGAC Stingray’s, teaching children as young as 4 and as old as 17. This past year, he worked with an elite group of middle school kids under The Aggie Swim Club in College Station. William is a certified in CPR and first-aid, as well being a registered lifeguard and USA swim coach.
