Coach Zach

Zach Kline
Age Group Coach

Zachary Kline joined the Texas Ford Aquatics staff in 2017 and has been a competitive swimmer for 12 years. Zach was a member of Frisco Aquatics before Dan McDonough was brought on as head coach and elevated the team to Texas Ford Aquatics. Zach has grown up under the expertise of Dan, being in Dan’s top group from the start of his role as head coach, as well as being the team caption for his high school swim team at Wakeland Highschool. Zach attended Southwestern University where he earned his bachelors in Kinesiology. While there he swam under John Duncan for all four years and helped grow the team from being ranked last in conference before his freshman year, to being conference runner-ups his senior year by a meager 5 points. Zach has been coaching since 2012 where he started coaching summer league at Stonebriar County Club. In the summers to come, Zach was the first coach brought on by our very own Swim America program. Then in the summer of 2017 he coached under the guidance of the head of the Kinesiology department at Southwestern, Dr. Scott Mclean. Now that Zach is back in Frisco he is excited to share what he has learned over his career with the team that helped raise him!
