John Jonosko

Education

• As a student-athlete at Southern Methodist University, John earned a Bachelor degree in Physical Education and Health. He also received a scholarship to play baseball, he pitched and played 3rd base for the Mustangs.Started his college and continued his baseball career at Paris Junior College where he received his Associate degree in Physical Education.

• Certified in Active Release Technique 2015

• In January 2014 was Certified as a Muscle Activation Technique Specialist.

• Board Certified Pedorthist in 2008.

• Graduated with honors from The Wellness Skills Center in Dallas and started his sports massage practice in 1998.

Experience/Highlights

• Member of the USA Swimming Medical support staff. Traveling to swim meets to provide support to our USA National team/Olympic swimmers.

• From 2004 to 2011, John was the team sports therapist for FC Dallas, a professional soccer team in Frisco, Texas.

• In 2000 John started working with SMU swimming and diving team, track and field athletes as well as other teams on campus and continues with them to this day. He has also worked with the SMU football team, men’s and women’s basketball, as well as individual athletes from other sports on campus.

• As a C-ped John started his experience mainly serving diabetic patients and athletes and supplying custom shoes and orthotics.

• He also worked with the Women’s USA Triathlon team at the 2000 Olympic trials in Irving, Texas. That same year he worked with the USA Wrestling team at the Olympic trials in Dallas, Texas.
